Days 2–5Corbett
Spend the next three days exploring Corbett’s varied habitats through guided jeep safaris. Riverine belts, dense sal forests and open grasslands provide the setting for the search for Bengal tigers, leopards and elephants, while the park’s rivers and woodland support a rich diversity of birds and other wildlife.

Day 2 · Travel to Corbett
Leave Delhi and travel towards Jim Corbett National Park, India’s oldest national park and one of the defining wilderness landscapes of the Terai. On arrival, settle into your lodge and become acquainted with the surroundings. Depending on arrival time and safari arrangements, the first exploration of the forest may begin this afternoon.
Days 3–5 · Safaris in Corbett
Spend the next three days exploring Corbett’s varied habitats through guided jeep safaris. Riverine belts, dense sal forests and open grasslands provide the setting for the search for Bengal tigers, leopards and elephants, while the park’s rivers and woodland support a rich diversity of birds and other wildlife. Each outing offers a different way of experiencing the forest. Alarm calls, tracks, movement along a riverbank and changes in bird activity can all help build a picture of what is happening beyond the immediate view. Between safaris, return to the lodge for meals and time to rest before heading back into the field.
Rajaji
Days 6–8Rajaji
Explore Rajaji through guided safaris across its sal forests, riverine habitats and open grasslands. The park supports tigers, leopards and elephants, alongside herbivores such as swamp deer and wild boar.

Day 6 · Transfer to Rajaji
Continue to Rajaji National Park, where the Shivalik foothills meet broad grasslands and forested valleys. After arriving and settling into your lodge, prepare for the next chapter of the Journey. The shift in landscape brings a different perspective on the wildlife of the Himalayan foothills.
Days 7–8 · Safaris in Rajaji
Explore Rajaji through guided safaris across its sal forests, riverine habitats and open grasslands. The park supports tigers, leopards and elephants, alongside herbivores such as swamp deer and wild boar. Its varied terrain also offers rewarding opportunities to observe birdlife, including hornbills, woodpeckers and raptors. Time in Rajaji is an opportunity to look beyond individual sightings and understand how the landscape shapes wildlife movement. Open areas, forest edges and river valleys each offer a different field experience, while the changing light and sounds of the foothills give the safaris their own character.
Pilibhit
Days 9–11Pilibhit
Spend two days exploring Pilibhit’s forests and surrounding landscapes with experienced naturalists. The reserve is associated with tigers and leopards, while the wider habitat supports other mammals and a diverse bird community.

Day 9 · Transfer to Pilibhit
Travel onward to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, entering a quieter stretch of the Terai wilderness. After arriving at your lodge, settle in and prepare to explore a landscape where forest, agricultural fields and wildlife habitats meet. The days ahead place particular emphasis on patient observation and the subtle signs that reveal animal activity.
Days 10–11 · Safaris in Pilibhit
Spend two days exploring Pilibhit’s forests and surrounding landscapes with experienced naturalists. The reserve is associated with tigers and leopards, while the wider habitat supports other mammals and a diverse bird community. The experience is centred on tracking, observing behaviour and understanding the rhythms of a landscape where people and wildlife share the same region. The quieter pace allows time to notice details that can be missed when attention is fixed on a single sighting: a track along a forest trail, a bird’s alarm call or movement at the edge of a field. For nature photographers and keen observers, these hours in the field can be as rewarding as a close encounter.
Dudhwa
Days 12–14Dudhwa
Explore Dudhwa’s varied habitats through guided safaris, with opportunities to look for swamp deer, crocodilians and the rich birdlife associated with its wetlands and river systems. Its dense forests and tall grasslands also provide habitat for Tigers and Leopards, though sightings depend on the conditions and the natural movements of wildlife.

Day 12 · Transfer to Dudhwa
Continue to Dudhwa National Park, whose wetlands, tall grasslands and extensive sal forests provide a fitting final chapter to the Journey. Arrive at your lodge and settle in before the next round of exploration. The landscape here is shaped by water and seasonal change, offering a distinct contrast to the reserves visited earlier.
Days 13–14 · Safaris in Dudhwa
Explore Dudhwa’s varied habitats through guided safaris, with opportunities to look for swamp deer, crocodilians and the rich birdlife associated with its wetlands and river systems. Its dense forests and tall grasslands also provide habitat for Tigers and Leopards, though sightings depend on the conditions and the natural movements of wildlife. The final days bring the Journey’s different landscapes into perspective. Spend time observing the wetland edges, grasslands and forest trails, with naturalists helping interpret the ecology of this remarkable region. Evenings offer time to reflect on the experience, enjoy the lodge and prepare for onward travel. Departure arrangements will be tailored to your confirmed itinerary.
